# Following

> Follow traders and assets, then use that set across Feed and discovery workflows.

Following lets you build a focused working set of traders and assets.

## What you can follow

You can follow:

* traders from Trader Discovery or Trader Profile
* assets from Asset Discovery or Asset Profile

The Following page lets you review and manage both lists.

## Where following is used

Following affects product workflows that need a user-specific scope:

* the Feed can switch between **All** and **Following**
* followed traders and assets are easier to return to
* Telegram alert setup can be prompted after a successful follow when your Telegram bot is not connected

Following does not change the public API contract and does not make hidden data visible. It is a product-layer preference.

## Telegram bot setup

When Telegram alerts are available for your account, the app can prompt you to connect the Centaur Telegram bot after following a trader or asset. The bot connection is managed from product settings.

The bot workflow is separate from Centaur API keys and MCP connected apps.
